Stiff Grooming Brush

• Densely packed coarse bristles to remove dirt with less effort.
• Market equivalents are known as 'dandy brush'
• To be used on horses that live out, coarse coats to remove mud and dried sweat, not to
   be used on clipped or fine coated horses.
• Not to be used on face and sensitive areas.
• Only remove dry dirt otherwise the skin may become sore.
• Should be used in a short flicking stroke to get dirt from the bottom of the coat, may be
   used against the growth of hair but generally in the direction of the hair.
• To be used first in a full groom.

• Designed for multi-directional brushing for easier use and fewer tangles.
• There is no real competition for this product on the market, the option used by a few
   people is a human hair brush.
• The mane and tail should be brushed at the beginning of a full groom.
• Start at the bottom of the tail to undo the worse knots then work up to the dock, rather
   than just breaking knots from the top.
• Applying a showshine/mane & tail conditioner spray before brushing can make the    tangles easier to remove and cause less damage to the hair.
